The Child Development Institute is a nurturing early intervention and therapy centre for children with a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder or Developmental Delay.
The CDI is committed to delivering positive outcomes for your child, whilst empowering parents through coaching and training, as well as training other professionals who support children with ASD. The overall aim being to create an inclusive world where all children can participate fully in their communities.
We have adopted the EARLY START DENVER MODEL, the first comprehensive, evidence-based intervention program specifically designed for toddlers and preschoolers with autism.
The CDI is a family owned business. We have first hand experience of raising a child with a cognitive disability. We understand every parent has hopes and dreams for their child, whilst experiencing the challenges and stressors in every day life. Fiona is a registered NDIS Provider and a Credentialed Eating Disorder Dietitian. With 22 years of experience working as a Paediatric Dietitian at The Children's Hospital at Westmead, Fiona can help you and your child with the following:

Into Focus Coaching provides ADHD coaching for adults, teenagers and parents of children with ADHD.
We assist adults with goal development and action plans, to achieve short and long-term objectives within their personal, professional, and social life.
For teenagers with ADHD, we can assist with executive function challenges, including time management, planning and prioritising, establishing routines and managing emotions.
Coaching for parents involves learning how to work with your child in a collaborative way that will make you more knowledgeable, mindful and confident in your parenting. Learn about ADHD and the latest up-to-date strategies that will enable you to support your child and help them thrive.
Child, youth and adult psychological therapy
I am a Child & Family Therapist who facilitates private practice. AshleyChildTherapies offers a space for children, young people, adults and families to be supported to tap into their innate healing and resiliency abilities through building an experience of connectedness. AshleyChildTherapies uses a combination of relational, trauma specific, creative, sensory and body based interventions to support both family and individuals to establish wellbeing and healing after prolonged periods of stress, difficulties, or trauma and to support professionals in developing their practice.
Ashley currently offers Parent Coaching support to parents who are parenting children who have been given the diagnosis of ADHD, ODD, ASD, anxiety and/or depression- as these children need specific type of parenting approach. Parenting children who are struggling emotionally and behaviourally can be really hard, disheartening, and draining. Ashley offers a space for parents to talk through the challenges they are experiencing and provides guidance for responsive, child specific parenting responses- and supports you in soothing your own nervous system. I have also supported parents through post separation, family violence recovery, and whose children are experiencing mental health difficulties.
