The Spring Effect on Property

The Spring Effect on Property

by Raine & Horne, Dee Why/Collaroy

NSW auction clearance rates continue to hover around the 70% mark and the Northern Beaches continues to out perform NSW this week with a clearance rate of 74%. Our managing director Peter Mosedale suggests “The clearance rates are spot on the average for this time of year. Now we’re in Spring, we should see the auction clearance rates gradually increases to up around a healthy 80%, maybe even higher in the Northern Beaches. Without a shadow of a doubt, it’s the best time of year to be buying and selling”.

If you are thinking about making a move, and would like to be settled and ready in your new home before Christmas, we would love to hear from you to talk you through why now is the time to act and see how we can help.

The Reserve Bank of Australia has held interest rates at 1.50 per cent for the 13th consecutive month. This is a record low and we can continue to expect rates to remain on hold well into 2018
