Warringah Aquatic Centre

Miss 3 and I decided we would go and check out the Warringah Aquatic Centre today (I don’t think I had been up there since the 1990’s)!! We had a great afternoon together playing in the outside pool (a gorgeous 28 degrees in the water I must say)!

They keep a few lanes closed for swimmers and the rest of the 1m deep pool is for the kids to splash around in (don’t forget your small pool toys too). I have to say I was impressed to see how much shade cover there was over the pools and the toddler area also had some great shade for sitting and playing on the grass too.
The shallow toddler pool also has 3 jets that the kiddies can play with too and small bubblers inside the pool. I had no idea how lovely the outside area was, there was even a small playground, picnic areas and a BBQ too.
The outdoor pools are open every day from 9am – 6.45pm Mon to Fri and 9am – 5.30pm on weekends.
Inside the Aquatic Centre there are 2 large pools and the diving pool also heated.
